About the BreatheCon Swag Design Contest

The BreatheCon swag design contest offers adults (18 years of age or older) with cystic fibrosis an opportunity to express themselves artistically and give back to the CF community!

Using the prompt “What does the CF community look like to you?” adults with CF are invited to submit an original creative work of their own design. The winning design will ultimately be chosen by the CF community and will be printed on the BreatheCon 2020 swag.

Why do we send swag (Stuff We All Get) for BreatheCon? Just because BreatheCon is online doesn’t mean it’s not a REAL conference, so every year participants receive swag just like you would at an in-person conference. The swag with the contest’s winning design will get you excited for the event, and remind you of the fun you had long after the event is over.

Please read the "How to Enter" section below before beginning your design.

Contest Theme and Message From the Co-Chairs

This year we want to see what the CF community looks like to you! BreatheCon is an event where everyone feels welcome and can make connections beyond our disease. We know that together we can make a difference and change what it means to have CF. “What does the CF community look like to you?” is the prompt to guide your artwork design for this year’s contest. Here’s a list of phrases to get your wheels turning as you think about your design:

  • Alone but together
  • A seat at the table
  • Room for everyone
  • We are all different AND can make a difference to each other
  • Reimagining community
We can't wait to see what you create!
