Program Overview

On Monday April 3rd - Tuesday April 4th the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics Development Network will host the TDN Spring Meeting at the Sheraton Charlotte Hotel in Charlotte, NC.
 
This in-person conference is designed to meet the educational needs of the TDN Clinical Researchers involved in the care of patients with Cystic Fibrosis.
 
In order to achieve this goal the conference will offer training and information to benefit clinical research teams conducting CF clinical research and the patients participating in the research. Additionally, the meeting provides opportunities for teams to work together, network with other CF clinical researchers, and collaborate to identify best practices and resources to improve the quality and efficiency of cystic fibrosis clinical research activities.

Educational Objectives

  • Describe the drug development pipeline management process for CF Clinical Research
  • Plan ways to improve local clinical research team meetings
  • List ways that highly effective modulator therapies have changed experiences of care and overall wee-being among people with CF
  • Identify and locate tools and resources to optimize clinical research
  • Plan for CF clinical studies that include remote outcome measurement assessment
  • Describe the function and structure of mucus in CF and implications for future therapies

Session Formats

Plenary Sessions

All plenary sessions will be recorded and available for viewing after the meeting. Plenary session format will be panel lectures providing educational content to attendees.

Small-group Breakouts 

Only the Hot Topic sessions will be recorded. All small group breakout sessions are designed to be more interactive and require attendee participation in discussions.
