With the introduction of highly effective modulator treatments (HEMT) and additional therapeutic advances, the state of daily care for those with CF is evolving rapidly. Three clinicians (an adult CF clinic program director, a pediatric respiratory therapist, and a psychologist) alongside a parent of a child with CF, are excited to bring you an engaging discussion about where we are with daily care and where we’re going. Speakers will share about research studies currently in process (HERO2, SIMPLIFY, QUEST, and PROMISE), how the CF community is the driving force behind these studies and their forthcoming results, and how data combined with individual needs can lead to a more informed quality of life for those with CF and their families and caregivers. After this session you may be energized to participate in research about your daily care activities, partner with your care team to better determine your individualized daily care needs, and be creative about envisioning a new future for your CF care.
