Shine-Ann has been caring for people with CF since 1998. She joined the Central Texas CF Center in 2000. Shine-Ann is currently the Quality Improvement (QI) Coordinator for both the pediatric and adult CF centers, the Pediatric CF Program Coordinator, the CF Learning Network QI lead, and the Registered Respiratory Therapist for the Dell Children's Medical Center in Austin. Shine-Ann has served as a mentor in the CF Foundation (CFF) Respiratory Mentor Program since 2009.  She joined the CFF QI Team Coaching Program as a QI coach in 2018 and the Partnership Enhancement Program as a facilitator in 2022. Shine-Ann has presented and served as a moderating chair in multiple North American CF Conference and was the recipient of the 2023 Mary M. Kontos Care Champion Award. Shine-Ann continues to participate in various CFF committees and events. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, experiencing all things culinary, and ballroom dancing.
