Emily Muther, PhD is an associate professor of psychiatry and pediatrics and a psychologist in the CF center at Children’s Hospital Colorado. Dr. Muther provides mental health assessment and intervention to children with CF and their families and is involved in many national mental health initiatives through the CF Foundation as a member of the Mental Health Advisory Committee and Mental Health Mentoring Program. Dr. Muther is a research investigator for the CF Foundation’s Success with Therapies Research Consortium (STRC), which focuses on developing interventions and research studies to improve adherence in CF. She has served as a site PI for several STRC-funded studies and co-developed a manualized telecoaching intervention to improve adherence.
