The Three R’s of CFTR: Restore, Repair, Replace
Session Format
Keynote
All Knowledge Levels: This session is for people with any level of knowledge about CF science.
Description

Join a conversation moderated by James Lawlor, a computational biologist and an adult with CF, and featuring Bill Skach, MD, the Foundation’s executive vice president and chief scientific officer, and Dara Riva, the Foundation's clinical research awards director and the mother of two children with CF, as they discuss the three R’s of CFTR: restore, repair, and replace. Learn what the three R’s mean in the context of the path to a cure, and what they mean today and tomorrow for the cystic fibrosis community. Their conversation will also provide an overview of the science around CFTR to watch, both inside and outside the lungs, and the other exciting topics being covered at ResearchCon 2020.
