John Sheridan joined the research affairs team in the Bethesda office of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in February 2019 and has enjoyed every minute of it. Prior to joining the Foundation, he worked at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute as a program director, where he managed the CF grant portfolio and helped establish the NIH Somatic Cell Genome Editing Program. He is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill where he received his PhD in cell and molecular physiology and was a recipient of the AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellowship. Outside of work, he enjoys baking, board games, and reading.
