The CF community can often feel like a broad and nebulous network, and living with CF can feel extremely isolating. For various reasons, it can be hard for some people of diverse backgrounds and experiences to feel like there is a place for them among other people with CF. At this keynote you will hear stories from adults with CF about how they find their place in this community. Our experiences of this disease are unique, but together -- and through our differences -- we can learn to build a community where everyone is welcome.

Maintaining mental health can be challenging for all people, and particularly for all of us living with a chronic disease. Come listen to stories from adults with CF as they share about their struggles and healing, and to hear how you are not alone. Learn from their experiences on how to cope and how to reach out for help. We will also explore how, although the stigma around mental health is getting better in some areas, there are still people and cultures who are not experiencing this shift and may have extra barriers to healing.
