Bio

Jessica currently serves as was the Senior Lead for Clinical Research Community Engagement & Equity at The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation where she leads efforts to engage the Cystic Fibrosis community in research and care related opportunities, as well as efforts to improve diversity in engagement, utilizing quantitative and qualitative research. She also works on the foundation’s community engagement efforts with industry partners providing companies with strategies to incorporate the voice of the CF community in their programs.  

Prior to CFF, Jessica has also lead research teams as lead coordinator in research areas such as behavioral health, infectious disease, and rare disease. As research lead, Jessica worked to increase diversity in study recruitment including creating spaces to connect and educate local communities on study related topics and opportunities to participate in research. She holds a B.S in Biology from Spelman College, a M.S in Biophysics and Physiology from Georgetown University and an MPH from Mercer University. Jessica currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
