Luke is a pediatric pulmonologist and microbiologist at Seattle Children's Hospital and the University of Washington. His clinical and research focus is on the roles microbes and infection play in disease and health in people with cystic fibrosis. He directs the Center for CF Microbiology, a National Resource Center supported by the CF Foundation that provides advice and laboratory services to researchers developing new treatments for people with CF. In his clinical practice, he cares for children with diverse chronic lung diseases, including CF.
