Kristen is a chemistry professor at a liberal arts college in Tennessee. She and her husband enjoy hiking, outdoor projects, playing music, and more in their spare time. CF served as part of the reason that she went on from college to get her PhD in biochemistry and molecular biology, where her dissertation research focused on cystic fibrosis-related diabetes. Kristen is active in her local church and enjoys being around kids.
