Dr. Michelle Mann is a pediatric pulmonologist practicing at Texas Children’s Hospital and assistant professor of pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine. She cares for children with a variety of respiratory disorders. Her main research interest has been improving care for patients with cystic fibrosis. Dr. Mann has been an investigator for many clinical multi-center trials through the Therapeutic Development Network and has been active in reviewing proposed research protocols for the CF community. She is also involved in investigator-initiated clinical research and quality improvement work in nutritional assessment and improvement, mental health and wellness, and access to new therapies. Her role as a trainer for the Partnership Enhancement Program through the CF Foundation enables her to share the importance of emotional wellness in the experience of CF care, as well as the relationship of the care team to the patient, to centers across the country.
