Rhonda has been devoted to learning, teaching, advocating, fundraising, and caring about people with cystic fibrosis since 1996, when her third child was born with CF. She joined the University of Virginia Adult and Pediatric CF Care Teams in 2015 as a family partner in a quality improvement initiative that led her to her dream job as CF quality improvement program coordinator and team coach. Today Rhonda continues to learn, teach, advocate, fundraise and care about people with CF as a fully integrated CF care team member at UVA, a credentialed microsystem team coach, a QI Leader Workgroup co-chair in the CF Learning Network, and a loving stakeholder in her adult son’s CF journey.
