Mariah Hanley is a lawyer, person with CF, lover of books, and lifelong Washingtonian. She lives in Seattle with her dog, Freddy, and loves taking him on walks while listening to a favorite audiobook and drinking a latte. Mariah works at a local nonprofit providing legal services to low-income and at-risk veterans. She was diagnosed with CF when she was 2 years old and has participated in multiple studies over the years. She looks forward to watching any of the available NACFC livestreamed sessions each year and to improving research knowledge for people with CF and their families at ResearchCon 2020. Mariah is particularly interested in research about the impact of social determinants of health for people with CF and their families, mental health, and including people with rare or nonsense mutations in CF research.
