George Retsch-Bogart, MD, is Professor of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a member of the faculty and CF Center since 1989, serving as the Associate Director of CF Care Center since 1994.

He has been part of the CF Foundation’s Therapeutics Development Network (TDN) since its founding in 1989, and currently is the Faculty Director of Network Operations at the TDN Coordinating Center at Seattle Children’s Research Institute to support the network of 92 sites and links with the European CF Clinical Trials Network and the network supported by CF Canada. He also serves as the current Chair of the CF TDN Clinical Research Executive Committee which oversees the TDN’s activities and sanctions the clinical research conducted in the Network.
