As a health educator, Laura Mentch has been engaged in sexual health care and education since she was a volunteer at Planned Parenthood during college. Her CF diagnosis 15 years ago encourages her to bring this interest and knowledge to the CF community. She has written about sexual health and CF for CF Roundtable, contributed articles on contraception and menopause for the CFF adult guide, and presented at CF conferences, meetings and education nights. Laura grew up in Rochester, N.Y., and is the youngest of five children and the only one with CF. She currently lives in Bozeman, Mont.
