How much do you know about inflammation and how it affects your health? This session will focus on inflammation and the role it plays in the body of individuals living with cystic fibrosis. Inflammation is the body's way of protecting itself from infection, illness or injury, but this response can also be detrimental. This session will explore the effects of inflammation, how it is being researched, treatments, how it is understood by the community, and how it is being presented by clinicians. The session will feature information presented by experts, followed by a panel discussion that includes a community member who has participated in an anti-inflammatory clinical trial, and will close with a question and answer period with the audience.
