This session will give an overview of fungal infections and allergies prevalent in the CF population, including explaining the difference between culturing aspergillus versus the allergic response to the fungus aspergillus, ABPA (allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis), and other possible fungal lung infections and treatment options. After the overview the discussion will be open to the audience to ask questions of the experts. Since studies about fungal infections are limited to date, we will be learning together, patients and clinicians.
