Presentation of sexual and reproductive topics in cystic fibrosis by Assistant Professor of Nursing Sigrid Ladores, PhD, RN, PNP, CNE investigator in reproductive health concerns in those with cystic fibrosis and a conversation with Laura Mentch and Jennifer Kyle, adults with CF and sexual and reproductive health educators.

    Join us for a discussion about your options when it comes to building a family. No matter where you are in the process, come hear stories from others in the community who decided to pursue pregnancy, surrogacy, adoption, or chose not to have children. We'll touch on the path that leads you there, what to consider, how CF plays a role in the process, and much more. Following this session, you will have the option to join a small-group video breakout follow-up discussion about one of these decisions. 
 
  • Storytelling Panel: Parenting
    Join this panel of people with CF sharing their experiences with parenting, from infants to teens. Following this session, you will have the option to join a small-group video follow-up discussion that will build on the topics covered during the panel.
 
  • Fifty Shades of CF: Sex, Pleasure, and Knowing Your and Your Partner's Bodies
    Let's talk about sex -- baby. Let's talk about you and me. Let's talk about all the good things and the bad things that will be. Let's talk about sex. If you are looking to discuss some of the questions regarding sex and intimacy, then this session is for you.
 
  • What About the Men? CF and the Male Reproductive System
    Open discussion among men with CF about sexual anatomy, fertility, physiology, and relationships. This male-only session will be enriched by all voices and experiences. Please join us as we open the door to sharing our collective experiences.
 
  • CF Women: Natural Cycles, Hormones, and Contraception
    Open discussion with other women about how they have noticed, addressed, and dealt with the natural cycles of menstruation, hormones, and contraception in relation to their CF.
 
  • The Other Side of Sex: Medication Side Effects, STIs, UTIs, Yeast Infections, Incontinence, and More!
    CF includes many sexual co-morbidities such as incontinence and endometriosis. On top of that, many CF medications have sexual side effects such as urinary tract infections and yeast infections. Come share your experience with sexual discomforts, side effects from medications, and Kegels! This is a co-ed session.

    Join a friendly group of lesbian, bisexual, gay, and trans folks with CF, as we discuss how awesome we are, the circumstances of our lives, and our triumphs in the world. Please come with an open mind, an eagerness to understand others, and love and compassion for your CF family.
 
  • Menopause: Breaking the Barrier and Discovering New Limits
    Are you just starting menopause or in the throes of it all? In this session we will describe and discuss the typical experience of menopause and consider how it is different for women with CF. Bring your stories and feel free to share any changes you have noticed with aging and how it affects your CF.
