Jamie Seymour’s eldest daughter, Kasey, was born with cystic fibrosis but was not diagnosed until she was 4 years old. Kasey had a double-lung transplant four years ago this June and got married two years ago. Jamie is also the mother of two other girls, Maggie and Charlie, who do not have CF. She is on the CF Foundation Maryland Chapter board and on the family advisory board at Johns Hopkins. She and Kasey were part of the transplant segment of the CF Foundation Lung Transplant Consortium which brought together CF and transplant care teams around care transitions. She has recently relocated from Baltimore to Connecticut and Georgia.
