Dr. Sarah Shrager Lusman is a pediatric gastroenterologist. She earned her bachelor's degree from Brown University. She received her medical degree from Columbia University's College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed her residency and fellowship training at Columbia University Medical Center. She is an associate professor of pediatrics and an attending pediatrician at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She completed the CF Foundation's Developing Innovative Gastroenterology Specialty Training (DIGEST) Program, and serves as the gastroenterology representative on the Program Planning Committee for the North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference. Her current research interests are in the areas of nutrition and cystic fibrosis. In addition to CF, her other areas of interest in gastroenterology are food allergies and eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders, as well as intestinal failure and short bowel syndrome.

Dr. Lusman is the director of fellowship training in the department of pediatrics at Columbia University Medical Center and the director of the fellowship training program in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition. She is also a member of the Training Committee of NASPGHAN.
