Ali Sue Patterson is the Research Communications Manager at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where she works to make the latest updates in cystic fibrosis (CF) science available and accessible to the community. Prior to joining the communications team she worked in the clinical trials department where she focused on engaging the community in research opportunities and bringing the voices of people with CF and their families into the clinical research process. She earned her BS degrees in biology and environmental science from the University of Virginia. She spends her spare time rock climbing, eating spicy food, and hanging out with her partner, Xander, and cat, Doobie.
