Dr. Christine Hachem is a professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Dr. Hachem’s academic focus has been in medical education centered on esophageal disorders, functional bowel disorders, and colon cancer. She has been recognized by the CF foundation as a DIGEST grant awardee focused on innovative Gastroenterology Specialty Training in CF. Her work in CF has centered on patient care and understanding ways to improve the delivery of gastroenterology-focused care in a multidisciplinary model. She has been an invited speaker for gastroenterology topics relevant to CF at both local and national forums.
