Megan Lepore was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at 4 months of age and has been a CF patient across three different states and multiple CF care centers over her (almost) 35 years. After graduating with a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Stanford University, she received a master of public policy degree with a certificate in health policy from Duke University. Professionally, Megan has spent her career working in health policy, particularly focusing on the Medicaid program. In 2019, she joined the Governance Board of the Cystic Fibrosis Reproductive and Sexual Health Collaborative (CFReSHC), a nationwide online collaborative committed to responding to the needs of the CF community through partnerships that pave the way for improved sexual and reproductive health resources, healthcare, and knowledge for people with CF. In the summer of 2019, Megan added another role to her life, becoming the proud mommy to her precious baby, Henry. For hobbies, Megan enjoys dance, barre fitness, and yoga, which have been crucial parts of her CF care routine since childhood. She is also a huge fan of Stanford football (Go Card!) and watches too much Netflix and Bravo. A California native, Megan currently lives in Silver Spring, Md., just outside of Washington, D.C., with her two favorite guys: her husband, Bobby, and her son, Henry.
