A group discussion for caregivers in every stage of the transplant process. Share your experiences of caring for a loved one during the transplant journey, learn how to deal with becoming a new caregiver, and how to tackle the transplant world. You’ll also learn the importance of your emotional and mental health and how to advocate for and assist your loved one in a way that is best for them while they are at the hospital and at home.
Session Objectives
- Learn how and what you should be preparing for, questions to ask your loved one or their care team, and what discussions are important to have throughout the process.
- Understand the important balance of the personal relationship and the role of caregiver.
