Drew grew up in Palm Beach, Florida. He lived an active seemingly healthy life, heavily involved in sports, so it was a shock when he was diagnosed at 13 in 1988. At 15, Drew attended Andover boarding school in Massachusetts, and then University of Florida, earning a B.S. in Psychology, minor in Business Administration, followed by a J.D. and M.A. in Real Estate. CF never interfered with full participation in school, social life, and athletics until his mid-20’s, when CF issues became more common. Drew spent 8 years as a luxury real estate agent in Palm Beach while volunteering heavily in high school student ministry at his church. His enjoyment serving teens led him to spend three years as a youth and young adult pastor, followed by nine years as an attorney for teens in dependency/ delinquency. Currently, he is an in-house ethics counsel attorney for Gunster, known as Florida’s law firm for business. He has a wife, Jin, of almost 10 years, and stepchildren, Lydia (17) and Joshua (19). He is a member of his local CFF board and is endeavoring to take part in the 83 mile 2024 Crossing For Cystic Fibrosis paddle from the Bahamas to Florida.
