Description
There are a lot of questions and decisions that come with working as an adult with CF. Join us as we meet with experts who have coached and/or experienced working with a chronic disease. Panelists will include people with CF and others in this field. We will touch on topics such as the decision to work or not work and how much, disclosures, environmental considerations, the emotional factors, employer challenges and more.
Session Objectives
- Understand the challenges of deciding if working is a possibility and the many factors that go into making this decision.
- Listen to individual experiences of disclosing CF in the workplace and learn about policies and resources to counteract discrimination.
