Erica Tharrington is the Clinical Research Coordinator for both the adult and pediatric programs at the University of Virginia CF Therapeutics Development Network Coordinating Center (TDNCC). She is also the daughter of a person with CF, her mother, Rhonda Lewis. Erica is incredibly involved in the local CF Community. She was a Virginia's Finest Honoree in 2020 and the Virginia's Finest Brewer's Ball Ambassador in 2021. She has been a member of the CFF Blue Ridge Virginia Chapter for two years and is currently the Peer-to-Peer Chair. Furthermore, she completed her first CFF Xtreme Hike last year and looks forward to many more. Erica lives in the Shenandoah National Forest where she enjoys hiking, skiing, and climbing with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. They are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their second daughter this June!
