VICTOR ROGGLI
Victor Roggli is a professor of pathology at Duke University Medical Center who specializes in diseases of the lungs. He was diagnosed with CF at age 12 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He attended Rice University in Houston, TX receiving a degree in biochemistry and environmental engineering, and then attended Baylor College of Medicine where he received his MD degree in 1976. He then entered a residency program in pathology with Baylor Affiliated Hospitals, completing this training in 1980. He has since been affiliated with Duke University and the Durham VA Medical Center. Victor is a delta F508 homozygote who will celebrate his 72nd birthday on April 23 of this year. He is a karaoke enthusiast and has recorded more than 300 songs, winning three local karaoke contests performing Aerosmith, Elvis and Bobby Darin. He is also a big fan of Weird Al Yankovic. He has been married to Linda for 31 years and has a daughter, two stepsons, and two grandchildren.
