Ray Poole initially learned about CF through his wife Rebecca’s experience. Years later he was able to share the story of her double lung transplant journey through his book, “Lessons from a CF Cornerman,” and his TEDx talk. He became involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and was named “Milwaukee's Finest” in 2013. He has served on the leadership boards for both Wisconsin and Greater Cincinnati Chapters, leads an annual CF Cycle for Life team, and is the 2022 co-chair for the Volunteer Leadership Conference.
